A Quiet Retreat
This primary bathroom was transformed from a visually busy, dated space into a soft, spa-like retreat. Warm neutral tones, natural wood, gentle texture, and rounded forms create a sense of ease and calm.
The existing bathroom felt visually busy and disconnected. One of the key design challenges was working with the existing shower, which was staying, while shifting the rest of the room toward a softer, warmer, spa-like feel. Rather than trying to match the shower, we created a visual bridge — using a slightly cooler floor to connect with the existing finishes, then gradually introducing warmer tones through the walls, wood, and textures. The result feels cohesive, calm, and intentional without allowing the existing shower to dictate the new design.
Material Palette
Warm wood, soft stone, subtle texture, and brushed nickel create a tactile, spa-like palette. The mix of smooth and textured surfaces adds depth while keeping the overall feeling soft, relaxed, and understated.
The details were never meant to compete for attention. Instead, each one plays a quiet role in creating a space that feels considered, balanced, and at ease.
